On Tuesday, 28 October 2008, Praxis embarked on its biggest event-to-date, the Simon Duncan Spring/Summer Fashion Show to benefit Praxis. The event was hosted by former Praxis client, Mykel C. Smith, who was also named NY1's New Yorker of the Week.

The Prince George Ballroom was filled to capacity with nearly 400 guests in attendance from both the non profit and fashion worlds. Editors from top fashion magazines and buyers from Saks Fifth Avenue as well as representatives from nearly 30 media outlets covered the action from the runway. Over $16,000 gross was raised for Praxis.
